Absolute perfect place for fisherman. Liquor store next door. Gas station next door with wash down area. 2 great restaurants nearby. Right across from the boat launch. Rooms were clean and had air conditioning. Decent beds too.

We had a great stay at Big Rock Motel in Campbell River on our way to our fishing trip! The room was clean, comfortable, and well-kept, with everything I needed for a relaxing visit. The location is excellent — close to town and with beautiful views nearby. The staff was welcoming and helpful, making the experience even better. Nothing over the top fancy, but felt clean, safe and overall, a wonderful stay and great value. I’d happily return the next time I’m in Campbell River!
This is one of my favourite places to stay in Campbell River….it’s family owned and operated and they’ve always treated me like family when I’ve stayed there. The rooms are always clean and comfortable. It’s right across the street from the Seawalk and a free boat launch, it’s within easy walking distance of a restaurant (Big Rock Garage) and local popular coffee spot (FoggDuckers). The price is super reasonable for what you get - the views are great and the air conditioning in the summer months is an added bonus if you’re looking to stay in this particular area of town!
